Ayhan Demir · Berlin-based process excellence leader, from factory floor to worldwide operations

Who I am, and how I work

I am a Berlin-based process excellence leader and Amazon alum who started on a factory floor and spent nineteen years learning how work actually flows, where it breaks, and what it costs.

I carried that discipline from a single new marketplace to worldwide customer service operations, compounding confirmed impact from kilo-scale to a 9-figure portfolio of confirmed impact across eight years.

I am as comfortable authoring an organization’s AI strategy as I am designing the Large-Language-Model solution that proves it works: the process architecture, the prompt design, and the validation, applied without writing backend code. I care most about leaving systems and people stronger than I found them.

How I work

I do not just advise. I make it work.

When I argued that a critical quality metric was mostly unmeasurable as scored, I did not stop at the finding. I designed the LLM evaluation system end-to-end (the process map, the prompt architecture, the scoring rubric, and the validation) and authored the AI strategy around it. The design and the working solution came from the same hand.

I measure before I claim.

Before redesigning a metric used across the organization, I ran the regression that proved the majority of its variance sat outside operational control. Evidence first; redesign follows.

I earn wider scope by finishing the narrow mandate first.

Confirmed impact compounded across eight years, from individual contributor to end-to-end owner. Each step came from delivering the smaller problem completely, then being trusted with a larger one.

I build things that outlast me.

Governance models adopted as the standard. Kaizens that leave a permanent process owner behind them. A wellbeing programme still running after handover. Durability is the point, not authorship.
